If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll know that a few weeks ago, I went to Provence for a holiday. Anytime I am going somewhere sunny, I pack this silk turquoise and white zebra-print crystal-embellished smock. It never gets worn in London because it looks entirely out of place here. I bought it about 6 years ago at Intermix in Miami and it gets a lot of wear, but only on vacations. I’ve never had any jewellery that worked particularly well with it, so when Eternal Collection asked me to choose a piece of jewellery to write about, my eyes settled on this pair of turquoise earrings, and that was that. I immediately imagined it with this top. I adore turquoise so I’ve found plenty of other occasions to wear them when I need a little dose of colour to liven things up. I like the size of them; they’re not so small that they disappear, but they’re not so big that they compete with this printed blouse (one of the very few printed pieces I own). Even better, they have a little cubic zirconia perched right above the turquoise to add the requisite sparkle!
They arrived nicely wrapped in a sky blue and silver box. The style of earrings that I chose come in silver and gold, and either with a regular post or clip-ons (they also come in lots of colours besides turquoise). Eternal Collection is quite well-known in the UK for their extensive selection of clip on earrings, since so few places seem to sell them anymore. One of my best friends only wears clip-ons, so now I have good source to find her some.
I had planned on a nice sunny day day to photograph these, but what I got was a bright but overcast day with a very stiff breeze. Just focus on the turquoise earrings and please ‘scuse my hair which is just all over the place. I’m not dishevelled and crazy, it is just the wind… honestly!
Much of the jewellery on the Eternal Collection website is a little ‘safe’ for my More Is More style, but they have some darling and very wearable things. For instance, these daffodil earrings are so sweet and springy. These red pansy ones would be super with an up-do. And THESE sweeping blue ear cuffs along with the matching studs are now firmly on my wish list!
Also, if you haven’t seen it, I’d love for you to read the interview I did for the Style Blazer series on Fabulous After 40. I was thrilled to be included in her series, and I think her questions were excellent…not the usual “Who’s your style icon?” kind of thing.

May 23, 2016 at 3:01 PMThank you, Nancy! Yeah, I probably can wear the blouse with dark jeans, it just feels odd to wear it in London for some reason. I hope you enjoy reading the interview! xx

May 23, 2016 at 3:53 PMLisa first of all – this turquoise colour is absolutely beautiful on you. No wonder you always wear this zebra-print top on holiday!! And the earrings are just perfect with it – and so “you”. I have some Eternal C pieces as well, and I agree they have some really gorgeous jewellery, something for everyone.
Beautiful photos sweetie – the “stick your nose in a rose” one especially!! 😉
